WE BELIEVE...

God
We believe that God exits as three persons in one essence. Those persons are God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit. God is all-powerful, all-knowing, everywhere-present, perfect in holiness, complete in justice, and steadfast in love.

Jesus
We believe that the person Christ Jesus was and is God in human form, existing as truly God and truly human, and was completely without sin. We believe that Jesus physically died on the cross, taking upon Himself the wrath of God, providing the sole means by which anyone might be saved. We believe that Jesus will return to earth, judge the world, and glorify all true Christians. 

Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells true believers, giving them the power to grow spiritually, resist sin, and become conformed to the image of Christ.

Scripture
We believe that the 66 books of the Bible are the authoritative word of God, perfect in message and in wording, completely accurate, with divine authorship. We believe that the Bible we have access to today sufficiently reflects the original autographs to be trusted as God’s word to humanity, in keeping with God’s promises.

Creation
We believe that God created the universe out of nothing and made humanity in His image. We believe that God created humanity male and female – two distinct genders, equal in value as divine image bearers and distinct in design.

Sin
We believe that all people naturally fall short of the moral standard of God, deserving punishment from God in the form of spiritual death.

Salvation
We believe that Jesus is the only way a person can be made right with God. We believe salvation is entirely by grace, through faith - that is, entrusting oneself entirely unto God for salvation.

Marriage
We believe that the institution of marriage was ordained by God as solely between one man and one woman, for one lifetime. We believe that any union between two people of the same gender or more than two people is not in keeping with God's design for sex or marriage.

Church Unity
We believe that God has tasked Christians to be unified in treating one another with love and respect, irrespective of our differences. When there is disagreement, we believe every Christian ought to give reasons for their beliefs in proper timing with gentleness and respect.
